Eyelash Tinting Treatments in Brighton, East Sussex

Are you ready to have gorgeous eyelashes?

We spend money and time on mascara and fake lashes, because they make any lady feel gorgeous in the glorious Brighton sun. What if you could achieve that dramatic look with your natural lashes though? That would be fantastic, which is why we offer premium eyelash tinting services at Match Skin Salon.

Long and thick eyelashes have been regarded as a symbol of beauty and femininity for many years, and that’s not going to change any time soon. While the focus has been on using artificial substances or extensions to help create more length and volume, there’s now a better way to achieve those results while retaining a more natural look and feel.

You can say goodbye to lash envy now, because your naturally short and straight lashes can be fuller and darker for longer. Eyelash tinting is a simple and quick treatment which produces results that can last weeks. So, instead of buying that pack of fake lashes, why not try an eyelash tint today?

Professional eyelash tinting in Brighton and Hove

There’s no better way to rock beautiful natural lashes than with an eyelash tint. It’s low maintenance and saves you from having to worry about your mascara smudging and running. Days at the beach or pool will become more relaxing and your active lifestyle will thank you for it. All it takes is a few minutes with one of our trained aestheticians at Match Skin Salon in Brighton and Hove.

How long does an eyelash tint last?

An eyelash tint can last anywhere from four to eight weeks, but you can make it stretch even longer once you know how to take care of it. Rest assured, our experienced aestheticians will let you know everything there is to know about taking care of your tinted lashes. For example, you’ll be advised to avoid applying any oil based solutions such as moisturisers and cleansers, because they will dissolve your eyelash tint quicker than you’d like.

What to expect during an eyelash tinting treatment

When you arrive at Match Skin Salon for an appointment, your aesthetician will talk to you about which colours you might like to use. There is a very dramatic blue-black, as well as brown, and of course, black. If you wear contact lenses, you’ll have to take them out before the treatment starts.

Before the aesthetician starts to apply the dye, you’ll sit and wear a protective towel on your neck in order to avoid staining your clothes. Then, you’ll have vaseline applied under your eyes to serve as a protective cream to prevent stains on your skin. Finally, a thin, curved cotton pad will be placed on the vaseline.

Once the preparation is done, you’ll shut your eyes and the aesthetician will begin to apply the tint to your lashes, using a fine brush. You’ll have to allow the tint to set for no less than ten minutes, keeping your eyes shut the entire time. Once the tint has set, the aesthetician will begin to take out the dye using a damp cotton pad.

Once all the excess dye has been removed, you will have your eyelid and under-eye area cleaned if there is any staining – and that’s it! You’re ready to hit the streets of Brighton with your brand new glow. You can book an appointment with us any time and ask any questions when you call 01273 719009.

Why you should have a professional tint your eyelashes

It might be tempting to want to try tinting your eyelashes yourself, using any dye you can lay your hands on, but this can be extremely dangerous. The eye area is very sensitive and it’s important to be particularly cautious when dealing with this part of the body.

At Match Skin Salon, we have highly skilled aestheticians who have been properly trained to handle eyelash tinting treatments adhering to the necessary safety recommendations and guidelines. If you have a licensed professional tint your lashes, you’ll be lowering the risk of accidently putting dye in your eye.

What to do before an eyelash tinting treatment

Since eyelash tinting is a really simple treatment, you won’t have to do much before you head to the salon for your appointment. You don’t even have to remove your makeup beforehand, as mascara won’t affect the eyelash tint. However, if you have waterproof mascara, you’ll have to let your aesthetician know, so it can be removed.

You might want to leave your contact lenses at home if your wear them, or you can remove them at the salon just before your treatment. Finally, let us know how dark you would like your tint to be.

What to do after an eyelash tinting treatment

The best thing to do after your eyelash tinting treatment is to flaunt your new, gorgeous lashes all over Brighton. Besides that, try not to pluck or pull at your lashes, so as not to thin them out. Also, hydrate and nourish your eyelashes by using a conditioning mineral mascara.

Why choose Match Skin Salon?

Our salon provides a relaxing environment that is warm, friendly, and comfortable. We bring that Brighton spirit into the salon, where you’ll have such a good time that you’ll not want to leave so soon. Combine that with professional service, and you have your new favourite salon.

Don’t hesitate to contact us once you’re ready to have your free patch test done.
